I wrote a letter in the Financial Times ("Sudan Lancaster House conference must focus on what works") responding to Hamdok's recent text ("There is no military solution in Sudan") in the paper.

In his piece, he advertises a Lancaster House conference which excludes both those who actually control territory and the civilian mutual aid groups delivering real services. The need is for realistic policy, thoughtfulness, and a politics of delivery.
